Chairman of the Kotmale Divisional Coordinating Committee Parliamentarian of the National Freedom Front Nimal Piyatissa resigned from that post today.
Piyatissa is a member of the party led by Wimal Weerawansa.
His resignation came following the sacking of Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila from the cabinet by the President.
