87 per cent of students at the Arts Faculty of Peradeniya University are female

87 per cent of students admitted to the Arts Faculty of the University of Peradeniya this year are female. 980 out of 1130 new students admitted to the University this year are female. University authorities said that over the past few years, the number of female students qualifying for Universities has increased significantly.
