Kollupitiya Police has begun investigations into reports where a chef was injured following a gas-related explosion at a leading Hotel in Colombo.
Police said the chef received minor injuries when the gas pipe connected to the stove at the kitchen exploded on Monday morning.
The victim was admitted to the hospital for treatment following the incident.
