Police arrested two Parliamentarians over the attacks on the Galle Face Green on the 9th of May. Meanwhile, a statement is being recorded from the Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennekoon on the same matter.
Earlier in the day, Police arrested Provincial Council Member Amal Silva and a worker from the Moratuwa Municipal Council in connection with Galle Face incidents.
