A police curfew was imposed in several Police divisions in the Western Province effective 9.00 pm until further notice.

Accordingly, Police requested all residents in Negombo. Kelaniya, Colombo, South, Colombo North, Colombo Central Mt, Lavinia and Ngegoda to remain indoors.

Movement through these Police divisions is also not allowed during curfew hours.
