It has been challenging for Jaffna University students who have passed the examinations to find employment because the university has not issued graduation certificates to those who passed the degree examinations from 2020 to 2022. Sources said that over 5,000 students who completed their degree and diploma courses at the university in 2020 and 2022 have not received their certificates.
The students say that they are having many difficulties finding employment locally or overseas as they don’t have a certificate to prove their qualifications.
