The Pinwatta Police on Tuesday arrested a man (30) for allegedly trying to rob a house that is said to belong to the Secretary to the President, Saman Ekanayake.
The suspect had fled the scene after attacking the police constable who was on duty.
Police said that a 35-year-old resident of the Baddegama area was arrested.
