A retired SSP has handed over a pistol and ammunition to the Moratuwa Police, saying that both the pistol and ammunition were found in a garbage dump next to his house.
The police say that there were 24 rounds of ammunition handed over with the weapon. It has been revealed that this weapon belongs to the Police Department during an inspection based on its serial number.
