Heads of Missions of fifty countries based in Sri Lanka joined a familiarisation tour from Colombo to Ella by Viceroy Special Train organised by the Foreign Ministry jointly with the Tourist Board and the Railways Department.
The train carrying the ambassadors and High Commissioners was halted at the Nanu Oya Railway Station on Friday, and they spent the day relaxing in Nuwara Eliya and began their journey to Ella on
Saturday morning from Nanu Oya.
The Chief of Staff and National Security Advisor to the President, Sagala Ratnayake, is also accompanying these ambassadors on this trip.
