Pathfinder Advisory Services (Pvt.) Ltd. recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with world’s leading information and communication technologies (ICT) solutions provider Huawei, to establish a framework to encourage, develop and ICT in Sri Lanka.
The partnership will enable the two institutions to achieve a deeper understanding of the possibilities that ICT technologies will open up for Sri Lanka.

Our constant effort is development of communication technologies to ensure Sri Lanka stay ahead in digitalization with latest technologies” said Bernard Goonetilleke – Chairman of Pathfinder Advisory Services, who is also the Chairman of Pathfinder Foundation.
“Huawei aims to share latest cutting-edge innovation and technologies to leverage the most advanced ICT technologies and innovations and cooperate with Pathfinder Advisory Services to jointly develop ICT solutions for Sri Lanka’s vertical industries. Huawei will remain committed to open innovation and cooperation, creating greater value for its customers, driving the ICT industry, and ultimately contributing to building a better-connected Sri Lanka.” CEO of Huawei Sri Lanka Liang Yi said.
The MoU is mainly focused on bringing Huawei and Pathfinder together to promote cooperation enabling joint discussion on the collaboration opportunities and implementation of ICT technologies in vertical industries such as ports, airports, education and agriculture in Sri Lanka. Further, the two organizations will also jointly incubate and implement ICT User Cases projects in Sri Lanka under collaboration of both Parties.

Huawei Sri Lanka has been operating in Sri Lanka since 1998 and has extensive and in-depth cooperation with local telecom operators, the government, vertical industries and end users.
