Former Minister and SJB stalwart Harin Fernando told Parliament on Friday that the government had acquired new software to spy on people.
Joining the debate on the Easter Sunday attack on the Catholic and Christian Churches and other important places in the City he warned the Parliamentarians on the other side of the divide that their whereabouts could be monitored by the “Spy Software” acquired by the government.
He described this as an anti-democratic act the software known by the name “Pegasus” can operate any mobile phone camera without any hindrance
