The Colombo Port City will come under Sri Lankan law, and the Sri Lankan law will apply there as well, stressed Justice Minister Ali Sabrytoday.
He said the Colombo Port City comes under the purview of the Administrative District of Colombo and will function under the Colombo Port City Economic Commission. “The Commission will be appointed by the President”.
“The Colombo Port City is a government entity and will only be leased out,” said the Justice Minister.
