Over a hundred dead and hundreds injured following explosions that occurred in six locations in Sri Lanka, on Easter Sunday. (April 21). Three of the locations that were bombed are Christian Churches, two belonging to the Roman Catholic Church and one Evangelical Church called the Zion Church, according to the Police.The Catholic Churches are the emblematic St Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade, a popular place of worship for all religions and St Sebestian’s in Katuwana, Katana. The other Church is in Batticaloa where casualties were estimated at 35. Three five star hotels hosting Easter breakfasts were also hit, they are the Shangrila, the Cinnamon Grand and the Kingsbury, all in Colombo.
