Administering COVID vaccine for age 20-30 commences in Colombo

Administering the COVID-19 vaccine to those between the ages of 20 to 30 will begin tomorrow (6Sep21 )in Colombo 1 to 15, stated the Colombo Regional Epidemiologist. Also Dr. Dinuka Guruge, Chief Epidemiologist of the Colombo Municipal Council said that the Sinopharm vaccine will be administered to residents, both temporary and permanent of Colombo 1 – 15 areas. The vaccination process will be carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and she has requested the public to not to cause any congestion as there are sufficient stocks of vaccines. The e-channeling facility will be open after 6:00 p.m she added. Vaccination programme be carried out in following areas: 1) Sugathadasa Stadium-walk in 2) Ginthupitiya MOH office -walk in 3) Forbes Road Community Hall - walk in and echanneling 4) Campbell Park -Walk in 5) Shalika Hall -walk in and echanneling 6) Roxy Gardens - walk-in and echanneling
