The Attorney General has directed the Inspector General of Police to conduct a fully-fledged investigation into the attack on the peaceful protestors at the Galle Dace Green.
Allegedly several senior Police officers have deliberately allowed the Pro Mahinda Rajapaksa crowds to enter the protest site and cause mayhem.
