Alles orders a crackdown on criminals in the Western and Southern provinces

The IGP and senior police officers have been ordered to take immediate action against those involved in murders and other violent crimes in these provinces.

The minister also instructed the Police to grant a grace period until July 31 to surrender all unauthorised and unlicensed firearms.

Alles said that raids will be conducted around the country to seize illegal firearms with the help of intelligence agencies upon the expiration of the grace period.
