Arrest and produce the Major–General and others

Kekirawa District Judge and Magistrate Saman Weraniyagoda has directed the Officer-In-Charge of the Habarana Police to arrest and produce the Major General allegedly involved in an assault case at the Minneriya Wild Life Park. It was alleged that a Major General attached to the Anuradhapura divisional headquarters of the Sri Lanka army has allegedly assaulted a wild Life officer on duty at the Minneriya National Park. The Magistrate has queried the Police their inability to arrest and produce the Major general and the others involved in the incident
