Sri Lankan Astrologer Indika Thotawaththa has been arrested for allegedly making defamatory statements harmful to religious co-existence.
Thotawaththa was arrested by the Police Computer Crimes Division today (Oct. 06).
He is accused of having allegedly made defamatory statements about a particular religion on social media.
Indika Thotawaththa is due to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court today
