The new Bus fares are likely to be announced tomorrow. With escalating, fuel prices private and state sector bus services will be affected unless a fare increase is denied. Private bus operators have insisted on a substantial increase to sustain their services without interruption. A confidential report on the bus fare hike is now with the Secretary Ministry of Transport for his recommendations.
