Azath admitted to National Hospital

Former Governor of the Western Province Azath Sally, now in detention under the Criminal Investigation Department, was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. Mr Sally has suffered a heart attack which prompted the authorities to transfer him to a health care facility. Mr Sally is in custody over several utterances he allegedly made and to find out whether he had any connections to the 2019 Easter Bomb attacks.
