The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today permitted Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeenand his wife to travel abroad.
Rishad Bathiudeen and his spouse Ayesha Sihabdeen whose passport were impounded by the Court over the death of a 16-year-old domestic aide at his residence had sought Colombo Chief Magistrate Court’s permission to temporarily lift their travel ban.
President’s Counsel Anil Silva appearing for the suspects moved court that their clients are expecting to travel to Qatar to attend a seminar.
Taking into consideration the facts Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriyaordered to temporarily lift the travel ban imposed on two suspects until May 24.
