The Cabinet of Ministers today decided to contribute their August salary towards the Covid fund initiated by the government. The SLFP will also donate their August salary for the same purpose. Meanwhile, the main opposition party SJB, said they have decided to set up a fund under the SJB leader and release funds to purchase equipment necessary to treat Covid patients in hospitals.
