The Central Bank of Sri Lanka said today that the foreign reserves of the bank now stands at 3.1 billion US$ approximately.
In a Twitter message, Central Bank Governor said, “ In keeping with our previous announcements, the official reserve position of the CBSL has reached approximately and will remain around that level by end 2021 as well.
Governor Nivard Cabral earlier said that the bank could acquire the required funds for debt servicing scheduled for January 18 but declined to mention the source from where the funds were reaching the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
