CEB will launch the next phase of the e-billing system on July 1.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will launch the next phase of the e-Billing system, effective July 1. Accordingly, customers residing in the Dehiwala, Kelaniya, and Sri Jayewardenepura areas will exclusively receive their electricity bills in digital format, either through SMS or email. This marks the discontinuation of the conventional practise of issuing printed paper bills.

The CEB encouraged all its customers nationwide to promptly register for this convenient service, as the issuance of printed paper bills will gradually be suspended in the coming months. To register via SMS, please type REGspace> followed by your A/C Number and send it to 1987. Customers should visit http://ebill.ceb.lk for online registration.
