Prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said that Dullas wouldn’t do such a thing being one of his closest political allies. The Prime Minister said that he was responsible for bringing Dullas to politics. Many speakers spoke against setting up an interim administration and said the mandate was them9SLPP) to govern the country. The President said that he never wanted his elder brother to quit as the Prime minister and said he values him more than anything. Arundika Fernando, who remarked that it was a family issue, was frowned upon by Chamal Rajapaksa.
