The Chinese national who had made a complaint to the Borella police about his residence being robbed was really involved in pyramid schemes, according to the police sources.

Together with a number of other Chinese nationals, he had been operating a pyramid scheme throughout the country, police said.

According to the police, he organised a heist with the help of his interpreter to cover up his losses at casinos.

It has come to light that these Chinese nationals have resided in the country for more than a year and are running an online global pyramid scheme. Laptops used for that purpose were discovered by the police.
