Countrywide travel restrictions extended up to 21st June

The countrywide travel restriction has been extended until 4.00 am on June 21 President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has directed the authorities to extend travel restrictions following discussions he had with Covid 19 task force. However, all factories including apparel factories, major construction projects, essential services, will function as usual. Economic centres will be opened for two days and the days will be notified later. Those involved in agricultural projects, organic fertilizer manufacturers and weekly village fairs will be allowed to operate with a minimum number of people present.
