The Court of Appeal issued an interim order preventing the removal of Harak Kata from CID custody.

The Court of Appeal has issued an interim order preventing the removal of Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias Harak Kata, from the custody of the CID and taking him to another place without the permission of the Fort Magistrate and the Attorney General.

This petition has been filed by Harak Kata, alias Nadun Chinthaka, against the decision to extend the detention order slapped against him, for which the Inspector General of Police and others have been issued notices.
