Covid-19 update: Authorities to boost testing

Health authorities have conducted over 158,000 PCR tests island wide to combat the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
By this morning, there were over 2,800 total cases detected in the country, with 470 active cases and 86 under investigations. Eleven have died.
All local coronavirus cases in July are linked to the Kandakadu drug rehabilitation center cluster.
Authorities have now decided to spike up PCR random testing from August onwards. For more information on the virus Suwaseriya hotline- 1999
