Dayasiri talks about an attempt to expel him from the SLFP

SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekera said that a group within the party is trying to expel him from the SLFP..

“I am ready to leave the party if the former president and the party chairman do not want me”, he said.

He said that he would leave the party if the party leader and the executive committee didn’t want him.

Jayasekera said that those who want to expel him from the party want to merge the party with the United National Party.
