Dayasiri will fight to regain his post.

Former SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said that he will take a crucial decision with regard to his political future soon. Jayasekera also said that he received invitations from the president several times to accept a ministerial portfolio, but he did not respond positively. He added that those who are behind his removal will definitely expel former President Maithripala Sirisena from the party. Addressing a group of SLFPers in Hettipola, he said that the conspirators' next target is the SLFP president. However, he said he would not give up the fight to regain his post. "I will definitely go to the apex court. But now everyone is trying to form political parties and alliances. I have no other choice if they try to drive me away permanently", he said.    .
