Delta variant in Madiwela?

The highly transmissible delta variant of the Covid 19 is suspected to have been detected in Madiwela. Though there was no mimmediate confirmation of the presence of the delta variant, Health authorities are taking preventive measures to contain it if the initial reports found to be true. Earlier last week, five people infected with the virus detected from the Dematagoda area within the Colombo Municipal limits.
