Four police officers from Bentota Police Station were injured when they went to settle a dispute during a carnival in Bentota.
These police officers were attacked by youth with sticks, clubs, and helmets on Sunday. (13).
The injured police officials have been admitted to the hospital.
Seven suspects who were taken into custody in connection with the incident were produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate’s Court and subsequently remanded by Magistrate Hansadeva Samaradivakara.
