Dr Jayaruwan Bandar to appear before the Criminal Investigation Department

One time Spokesperson of the Health Ministry, Dr Jayaruwan Bandara has been asked to appear before the Criminal Investigation Department in connection with an interview he has given to a journalist operating a youtube channel. It is a sequel to a complaint lodged by the National Medical Regulatory Authority and the Pharmaceutical Corporation that Dr Jayarywan Bandara has allegedly misled the masses to believe that they are responsible for the shortage of Covid 19 test kits in the market. He also has alleged that those items are sold at exorbitant prices.
