Earthquake off Sumatra no Tsunami threat to Sri Lanka

An earthquake has occurred off the west coast of Northern Sumatra around noon today. The magnitude of the earthquake indicated as 6.7 on the Richter scale. The Disaster Management Centre has announced that there was no threat of a Tsunami to Sri Lanka.
