Foreign Minister Ali Sabry is optimistic about an influx of foreign investments following economic reforms

Foreign Minister Ali Sabry PC says China Harbour has confirmed an investment of $1.2 billion in the Port City when he met with company representatives during his recent visit to China.
He said that Sinopec has also expressed interest in investing in a refinery. He was optimistic that if the reforms were steadfast and sustainable, the country would be able to attract investments.
Addressing a press conference in Colombo today, the Foreign Minister highlighted positive developments in Sri Lanka, citing a report on Bloomberg, adding that the country has successfully navigated through significant financial challenges and is now on a path towards stability.
