A former PS member shot at Rathgama

A former Pradeshiya Sabha member, Rathgama Pradeshiya Sabha (PS), who was travelling in a van, was seriously injured when he was shot at by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle near Seenigama Devale today.

The injured PS member was rushed to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.

Police say the former PS member who represented the SJB is a relative of the underworld gangster "Rathgama Vidura".
