Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court made an order today preventing former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, MP Namal Rajapaksa and 15 others from leaving the country. The direction came in the wake of an application by the Attorney General on behalf of the CID.
The order had a bearing on the mob attack on peaceful protesters at the Galle Face Green and near Temple Trees last Monday (09).
