The funeral of R Rajamahendran, held today.

The funeral of the Chairman of Capital Maharaja Group R Rajamahendran was held this evening in Colombo.

Many people including religious dignitaries, prominent politicians and cricketers paid tribute to the late Mr Maharaja for the services he rendered to the country as a prominent media magnate and social worker who executed many projects under the "Gammadda" Programme for the benefit of the rural poor.
