The GMOA has accused the Epidemiology Unit of its failure to perform its tasks to the required standards. The GMOA has pointed out the Epidemiology unit has not only failed in Disease surveillance but has also failed in five other areas for which they are accountable.
The tasks listed by the GMOA are Disease Surveillance, Outbreak Control, Vaccination Co-ordination, Clinical Management, Operational research, and Monitoring and evaluation.
