The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to import 300,000 litres of liquid oxygen every week to treat Covid patients.
Meanwhile, the Indian Naval vessel Shakthi brought in a consignment of 100 metric tonnes of Medical oxygen from Vishakapatnam, and the Sri Lankan Navy Vessel Shakti also carried another consignment of 40 metric tonnes from Chennai.
