A Sri Lankan fishing vessel that ran into difficulties in deep waters on December 2 was towed to safety by an Indian fishing boat to the Adani Port at Kattupalli, according to the Indian High Commission.
Indian fishermen had sighted the Sri Lankan boat north of Tamil Nadu.
All the four crew members of the Sri Lankan vessel are safe and have been provided necessary assistance by Indian authorities.
