Six aircraft from the Indian Air Force (IAF) has agreed to airlift Indian liquid Nano-Nitrogen fertiliser recommended for agricultural purposes, Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage has reportedly said.
Delays caused by shipping has prompted the government to import liquid Nano-Nitrogen fertiliser by air, he has said.
Accordingly, six Indian planes will arrive in Sri Lanka carrying Nano-Nitrogen fertiliser today, the minister reportedly said at an event at Gannoruwa, Kandy.
