Kinniya ferry tragedy: SLMC MP's house comes under attack.

The house belonging to SLMC MP M. S. Thowfeek in Kinniya came under heavy attack following the ferry tragedy in the Kinniyalagoon, where six persons drowned.
The six persons drowned included four students. Twenty others were taken to hospitals in the area after the incident.
According to Police, a 30-year-old woman, her 6-year old son, and a 3-year-old girl are unfortunate victims of the tragedy.
Two girls of one family and a 70-year-old man also died in the tragedy.
The rescued were admitted to the Kinniya and Trincomalee Hospitals.
There are five boys and four girls among those receiving treatment at the hospital.
A six-year-old girl in critical condition is receiving treatment at the ICU of the Trincomalee General Hospital.
Meanwhile, Eastern Province Governor has directed the area authorities to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter to ascertain the cause and take appropriate action.
