Lockdown on the cards

The country may be locked down and placed under curfew as a last resort, Minister Keheliya Rambukwell said today. Addressing the media, he said the government is to decide on this option depending on the situation and if a lockdown is essential under the prevailing conditions. Meanwhile, the government is likely to issue a gazette notification banning large gatherings.
