The magisterial inquiry into the death of a Danish Tourist was held in Kandy

Kandy Chief Magistrate Sreenith Wijesekera determined that the death of the 32-year-old Danish was due to multiple injuries to the face, chest, and abdomen area during the Magistrate’s examination, which was held on Tuesday.
The Chief Magistrate concluded the Magistrate’s examination subsequent to
reviewing the medical report handed over by the Judicial Medical Officer of the Kandy National Hospital. After the death certificate was issued by the Grama Niladhari of Alagalla of the Poththapitiya Police Division, the police were informed to send the body to the deceased's relatives.
The 32-year-old woman, Karen Munk Ebbesen, had been staying at a hotel in Ampitiya and had gone to visit Kadugannawa on July 10 and then to climb the Alagalla mountain,from which she had fallen.
