The Kekirawa Magistrate released the Major General involved in an altercation with wildlife officers in Minneriya on bail after the Police produced him before the Court.
Habarana Police arrested the Major General in question when he surrendered to the Police this morning.
The Magistrate directed the Habarana Police yesterday to arrest and produce him before the Court acting on a complaint made by the Wildlife Officers attached to the Minneriya National Park.
