The man who claimed of an impending bomb attack on the SJB protest rally, remanded, referred to a psychiatrist

The man arrested for allegedly giving false information claiming that a bomb attack will take place targeting the protest campaign organized by Samagi Jana Balawegaya in Colombo on November 16 was today ordered to be remanded till November 24 by Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court. The suspect was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddhika C. Ragala by Colombo Crimes Division (CCD). The CCD alleged that the suspect has given a note on a piece of paper to the Cinnamon Garden Police mentioning a bomb attack on the SJB protest campaign on November 16. Meanwhile, the Chief Magistrate has issued an order directing the prison authorities that the suspect be referred to a psychiatrist to obtain a report regarding his mental health condition.
