Matter referred to the Mediation Board, Cinnamon Gardens Police tells the Magistrate

The magisterial inquiry regarding an incident where reigning Mrs. World and Mrs. Sri Lanka 2019 Caroline Jurie had allegedly snatched the crown from Pushpika de Silva, the winner of the Mrs. Sri Lanka beauty pageant 2020 at the Mrs. Sri Lanka pageant, has been referred to the Mediation Board, the Cinnamon Gardens Police informed court today.
The two suspects Caroline Jurie and Chula Padmendra are currently out on bail over this incident which took place at the Mrs. Sri Lanka pageant on April 4, 2021.
When the case came up before Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandima Liyanage, magisterial inquiry into this matter was fixed for April 4.
The Cinnamon Gardens Police conducting investigations into the incident had filed a B report naming Caroline Jurie and Chula Padmendra as suspects.
