The CID has recorded a statement from Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa today in connection with the Galle Face Green mayhem.
Up to date, the CID had recorded statements from a number of Parliamentarians including Rohitha Abeygooneskara, Pavithra Wanniarchchi, C.B Ratnayake and Sanjeewa Edirimanne. and several others. Meanwhile, two Parliamentarians Sanath Nishantha and Milan Jayatileke were remanded until May 25 by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
